Pre-Kg
Pre-Kg in our school district was a mesh of students that should have gone to KIndy but after their evaluation, they didn't quite have all the skills that they needed to attend kindy and they felt they needed more time to learn the basics or social skills etc before entering "real" kindergarten.
But it also had younger students in there as well that would not have started kindy yet. So it was like a mesh of preschool and a kindergarten prep class that would help students who would have otherwise struggled had they started kindy when their age said they should.
